Delete your account & data
Before you start
Student accounts are created by the University when you are admitted; you cannot create an account in the app. Your login (the same one used on the student web portal) is part of your official student record and stays active while you are enrolled.
You have two options:
Delete app data in the app
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete app data.
- Read the summary and tap Delete, then confirm.
The app signs you out of all your phones and deletes the data listed below straight away. You can still sign in again later with your username and password.
Request account deletion
Use this if you no longer have the app or also want your app access removed.
- Send an email to info@khurasan.edu.af, preferably from the email address on your student record.
- Include your registration number, full name, father's name and program.
- Or visit the Admin Office (Registrar), Khurasan University with your student card or Tazkira.
We confirm your identity and complete the request within 30 days, and reply to tell you it is done.
What is deleted
- Sign-in sessions on all your devices (you are signed out everywhere)
- Push-notification (FCM) tokens of your devices
- Your notification read and "acknowledged" history
- Pending password reset codes
- All data the app saved on your phone (offline data and downloaded files) — removed when you sign out or uninstall
- With option 2, your app access is also removed: you can no longer sign in to the mobile app until you ask the University to restore it
What the University keeps
These are official education records and are kept under University and Ministry of Higher Education rules, even after the app data is deleted:
- Your student record, attendance, marks, results and transcript
- Fee records, vouchers and payments
- What you submitted for your studies: assignments, service applications, payment slips, questions, complaints, discussion posts and survey answers
- Security and audit logs, for as long as needed to protect accounts and investigate misuse
Your web portal login is managed by the University. It is deactivated when you graduate or leave, according to University rules.
